Trusting Your Intuition

According to Brett Blumenthal in her article in Sheer Balance, our intuition is our sixth sense. Trusting our intuition and making the right decision may take time to develop.

Intuition is referred as our ?gut feel?. It is the ability to feel and trust our inner reactions. For Brett, our intuition plays a vital role in achieving happiness. It guides us in our decision making processes.

To develop this skill, we should enjoy the silence within ourselves.? It is advisable to allot time for meditation and eliminate all sorts of thinking and analyzing. Let the thoughts freely flow and guide you. Feel the positive energy and everything will take place based on the go of your flow.

Every situation that you face requires a reaction. Brett suggests that you have to be alert in responding to the situation. Observe your surroundings and the environment and calmly react and gather information in regard to what suits your best interest.

The ultimate purpose of your intuition is to use it in your everyday decisions in life. So Brett advises that you must not argue with your feelings and listen to your inner core. In general, this will help you avoid regrets and disappointments in life.

How to Make a Roasted Cauliflower

Want a new healthy vegetable recipe? If yes, you can read this particular article in Fit Woman that suggests you try making a roasted cauliflower recipe.

It is easy to cook and very fast. All you need to is to prepare cauliflower, garlic cloves, olive oil, salt, fresh basil, pepper, fresh orange juice, fresh lime juice. The first thing you have to do is to roast peeled garlic cloves in an oven for 20 to 30 minutes in a temperature of 350 degrees. While waiting for it to roast cut large florets of cauliflower and put it in a large bowl.

After roasting, add the roasted garlic cloves together with cooking oil from garlic, pepper, salt, fresh basil, fresh orange juice, and lime juice in a food processor or blender. Mix it up until it gets fairly smoothly. When finished, drizzle the mixture over the cauliflower and toss in order to coat. Then, transfer it to a large sheet pan and spread it out to a single layer. Reasons Why Cheese Is Addictive

Based on an article that I?ve read in Greatist, eating cheese could be an addictive routine. This is because cheese contains opiate compounds called casomorphins. Opiate is a compound found in other addictive drugs. And researchers have found out that it is present in cow?s milk.

Allegations of addiction can be explained by the rapid increase of cheese consumption for the past 50 years. In USA, the average annual cheese consumption increase for a large 287 percent. This can be an alarming situation in terms of health knowing that cheese contains a high level of calories and sugar. To be more specific, one cup of cheddar cheese is equivalent to 455 calories. Sounds too much right?

At this point of time, the situation can?t be controlled. However, there are ways to eat cheese at lower calorie levels. You can eat part-skim options such as part-skim mozzarella that contains 71 calories. It is lower compared to the 84 percent in whole-milk version. Another alternative mentioned in the article is vegan cheese. It is made from plant-based soy protein and vegetable oil. But when cheese is process, you are not rest assured of its calorie and sugar content.
