The Doctors Adapted for Televisa in Mexico

LOS ANGELES: CBS Studios International's The Doctors has been licensed by Televisa for adaptation and is due to debut as Los Doctores in Mexico next week.

Featuring half a dozen Spanish-speaking medical professionals, Los Doctores will provide viewers with health-related information.?The 60x1-hour episodes will premiere on Televisa in Mexico on Monday, September 10.

The format?has also been picked up by broadcasters in Canada, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.

"Featuring relatable and timely conversations about the health and medical issues facing audiences around the globe, The Doctors format has been well-received internationally," said Roxanne Pompa, the VP of international format sales and production for CBS Studios International. "We look forward to working with Televisa to make Los Doctores equally successful in Mexico."

"We are very excited to be working with CBS Studios International to produce a Mexican version of this popular, informative series," added Jos? Baston, the president of television and content at Grupo Televisa. "Los Doctores is a wonderful contribution to the health and well-being of our Mexican viewers."
